- FPTI™ receives training contract from Trican -
FPTI™ has received a contract to train Trican's US-based maintenance technicians in Houston, Texas. FPTI™ will be conducting the training workshops at Trican's technical training center located in The Woodlands, Houston, TX. FPTI™ has conducted a number of workshops at Trican's technical training center in Red Deer, Alberta, Canada.
One of Trican's core values is to "never put anyone in harm's way." Hydraulic training is key to keeping Trican's maintenance team out of "harms way" with regard to hydraulics.
Trican Well Service provides a comprehensive array of specialized services to optimize the recovery factor of oil and gas wells during their entire life cycle. These services comprise primarily fracturing, cementing, coiled tubing, acidizing, nitrogen, reservoir characterization, microseismic, industrial cleaning and pipeline services, and include the provision of technical expertise, products and equipment. - On-site Training Contract at Freeport-McMoRan in Bagdad, Arizona -
FPTI™ receives a contract from Freeport-McMoRan to teach hydraulic safety and an advanced diagnostics (Troubleshooting) workshop to mine maintenance mechanics at their mine in Bagdad, Arizona.
FMI's Bagdad operation includes a 75,000 metric ton-per-day concentrator that produces copper and molybdenum concentrates, a solution extraction/electrowinning plant that can produce up to 25 million pounds of copper per year from solution generated by low grade stockpile leaching, and a pressure leach plant to process molybdenum concentrates.

Fluid Power Training Institute™ receives an order for two MF102-H-TSE Hydraulic Training Systems from The Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
- Trican Well Services purchases MF102-H-TSE training system -
Trican Well Service based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada invests in a MF102-H-TSE for its technical training center based in Red Deer, Alberta. Trican Well Service is one of the most well-respected well service companies in the world. The most compelling reason why Trican chose FPTI™'s hydraulic training system over any other on the market is because of what it will do to enhance employee safety: and employee safety is, without a doubt, Trican's number one priority. In addition to enhancing employee safety the MF102-H-TSE will be used to improve the hydraulic skills of all Trican maintenance personnel especially in the area of system troubleshooting.
- FPTI™ awarded training contract from Weatherford International, Houston, Texas -
FPTI™ receives a training contract to teach a specialized workshop in Coiled Tubing machine hydraulic systems from Weatherford International in Houston, TX. FPTI™ will be transporting MF102-H-TSE training systems to Weatherford's technical training center in Houston for the workshop. The workshop is aimed at enhancing safety, and improving hydraulic system maintenance and troubleshooting on Weatherford's growing fleet of coiled-tubing machines. This is the second contract FPTI™ has received for teaching Coiled Tubing Hydraulics at Weatherford International.
