The Aerospace/Aviation Technology-Aviation Maintenance Program is designed to prepare students for a career in maintenance and repair of various aircraft. This program is designed to give students knowledge and skills for the level required to pass the Federal Aviation Administration written, oral and practical examinations for an airframe and power plant (A&P) mechanics license. Aircraft technicians are required to perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot, repair, install or replace parts relative to airframes and engines. Students will learn both fixed and rotor-wing aircraft as well as reciprocating and turbine engines (excerpt from SLCC website).

With the acquisition of the MF102 training system, SLCC's Aerospace/Aviation Maintenance Program will have the most advanced hydraulic training program in the industry. SLCC’s instructors will attend FPTI™’s brilliant train-the-trainer workshops.

Technical schools, universities, and corporate training centers have many choices when it comes to investing in hydraulic training simulators. Organizations that look beyond the cost and functionality of a training simulator will ALWAYS invest in FPTI™ products because they are the only fluid power training products in the world that are purpose designed to teach students how to think safety and work safely with fluid power.

If you are looking for a product that can teach students:

    1. Basic through advanced hydraulics in real-time
    2. Thinking skills: the most important ingredient in troubleshooting
    3. How to maintain hydraulic systems
    4. How to set-up and adjust hydraulic components
    5. Teach troubleshooting in real-time

There is only one choice: and we guarantee it! If you purchase an FPTI™ product, and it is not at least 75% more effective at teaching “all of the above,” we will pay for outgoing and incoming freight, and you can keep the entire curriculum: a *$100,000.00 value.
*Price based on cost of hiring staff to write 40-hour plus curriculum for basic hydraulics, 40-hour curriculum for troubleshooting hydraulics, write textbooks, develop PowerPoint illustrations, and produce brilliant animations.

“Fluid power safety doesn’t just happen, it must be vigorously pursued.” There is no fluid power  training system provider that believes this as much as we do.

  • Star Center Maritime Training School
acquires a model MF102D-H-TS Hydraulic Training System, and a model MF700-PN Pneumatic Training System for its state-of-the-art training center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida -

After an exhaustive, year long, evaluation of hydraulic training simulators offered by US manufacturers, Star Center Maritime Training School based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, declared the MF102-H-TS the undisputed winner on all counts. Here are some of the comments made by the instructor that was tasked to undertake the evaluation, after visiting FPTI™’s manufacturing facility in Salt Lake City, Utah:

    1. “There is no simulator on the market that matches the quality of the FPTI™’s products: the quality is unsurpassed.”
    2. “If all the training simulators I have looked at were side-by-side in a room and I walked in, the MF102 would be the first to draw my attention because of it’s stunning aesthetics.”
    3. “On a recent visit to the Star Center by the person who donated funds for the training system acquisition the donor was so impressed with the MF102 that he increased his donation by approximately 30%. That speaks volumes for FPTI™’s products.”
    4. “Star Center is proud to be the first Maritime Training Center in the world to introduce marine engineers to FPTI™’s revolutionary MicroLeak testing procedures.”
Rory McLaren, FPTI™’s Founder and Director recently spent a week at the Star Center Maritime Training School in Florida to conduct a train-the-trainer workshop for Star Center’s instructors.
