ABOUT FPTI™  / BREAKING NEWS

  • Lake Area Technical Institute Acquires a Model MF102 Training System -

  • Technical Schools, Colleges, and Universities that compare FPTI™’s Model 102 training system to any other hydraulic training simulator on the planet quickly realize there is simply no comparison.

Feature for feature, quality of simulator, quality of books and manuals, quality of PowerPoint presentation, and last but not least, value for dollars invested, there is only one choice. Let us do the legwork: tell us which competitive product you are interested in, and we will prepare an unbiased side-by-side comparison of that product versus ours. You will quickly find there is only one choice!

Here’s an interesting fact: In EVERY case wherein an instructor has visited FPTI™’s manufacturing facility, FPTI™ has been awarded a contract.

We encourage you to learn more about Lake Area Technical College: http://www.lakeareatech.edu/about.html

  • British Columbia Institute of Technology places order for additional FPTI™ training systems -

The BCIT School of Transportation is a North American leader in transportation training, producing the high-quality, job-ready graduates in demand by the aerospace, marine, motive, and rail sectors.

Strategically located directly at the Asia Pacific Gateway, the School of Transportation delivers accredited and globally recognized programs tailored to meet the human capital needs of the transportation industry (excerpt from website).

According to BCIT’s website, the best way to learn something is by actually doing it. Like any other school, students will have lectures and textbooks, but what sets BCIT apart from other schools is small class sizes and applying what students learn in a lab, shop, classroom, or practicum. BCIT’s investment in North America’s most advanced hydraulic training systems, FPTI™’s model MF102D-H-TSE’s proves two things: BCIT believes in the effectiveness of hands-on learning, and, labs must be equipped to teach leading edge technology.

  • FPTI™’s Founder/Director, Rory McLaren, travels to Glascow, Scotland to train instructors at Chevron’s stunning new Centre of Learning & Development -

Rory’s trip to Scotland to train Chevron’s instructors was highly significant for a few reasons: Glascow is a stone’s throw from Inverness, where Rory’s father was born and raised; and, Chevron is the first company in the United Kingdom to take delivery of the brilliant model MF102 training system.

The maritime industry has well defined training and educational programs to enable seafarers to fulfill the mandatory requirements that allow them to progress and develop their careers to a point where they become senior officers. These “minimum” requirements are defined in legislation mandated by the International Maritime Organization (IMO). Chevron and Stena has created a joint training center at Northern Maritime in Glascow (excerpt SFARNYTT).

Chevron’s Maritime Training Center is the second to choose the model MF102 training system. Star Center Maritime Training School in Fort Lauderdale, Florida was the first.

  • Three (3) diesel-powered model MF500’s destined for Fort Leonard Wood in the beautiful south central Missouri Ozarks -

What clearly sets FPTI™ apart from companies that design and manufacture fluid power training systems is safety.

No other hydraulic training simulator in the world features safety products like Safe-T-Bleed®, and MicroLeak™ pressure/decay testing. Safety is also deep-rooted in every PowerPoint slide and textbook we develop.

Our men and women in uniform keep us safe, and we are always pleased, and mighty proud, to get an opportunity to return the favor. The dedicated team at FPTI™, which includes four people that served their respective countries, is handcrafting, with the utmost pride, three (3) of the most advanced hydrostatic transmission training systems in the world (model MF500) that will be used to teach the warriors at Fort Leonard Wood how to service, repair, maintain, and troubleshoot hydrostatic transmissions safely and effectively.
